As per reports, almost 100 new electric models are set to debut by 2024 and this is a huge boost for those who looking for an alternate fuel vehicle in near future. One for full size pick up trucks and SUVs and other for cars and smaller SUVs. As per Green car reports , Ford confirmed on 26 may 2021 that, they will debut the platform by 2025. Ford's Upcoming EVs likely includes an Electric Ford Bronco , Electric ford explorer 3 row SUV , Electric Lincoln Aviator 3 row SUV , Electric ford Ranger compact pickup truck among others. As per reports, Ford is also working on next generation Electric version of F-150 Lighting pickup truck along with full size SUVs. EVs launching between now and 2030 will be built on two new dedicated electric vehicle platforms and every vehicle Ford makes today comes from one of five architectures. As per the latest reports, they officially registered with the Registrar of Companies in India at Bangalore branch and their office is located at Richmond circle junction opposite to Bangalore club. According to the reports, Tesla India motors and Energy Pvt ltd has been incorporated in Bengaluru on January 8 and Karnataka Chief minister BS Yediyurappa took on Twitter to welcome Tesla and Elon musk to Bangalore. From the reports we can say Vaibhav Thaneja ,  Venkatrangam Sreeram, and David Jon Feinstein are directors of the incorporated Tesla entity. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Britain will ban the sale of new gasoline and diesel cars by 2030, which is a decade earlier than their previous commitment. Though gasoline and diesel vehicles end their sales in 2030, Hybrid vehicles can be sold till 2035. Previous goal of UK is to electrify the cars on their fleet by 2040, but now the target period have been reduced by ten years. The exemption of registration fees for EVs comes within five days of the exemption of Road tax for electric vehicles. Earlier, in 11th October 2020, electric vehicles were exempted from road tax. In an official notification, The Delhi govt. said All electric vehicles in Delhi will get an exemption from the registration fee. Delhi Transport department issued a notification to waive registration fees on Electric vehicles. The registration fee prescribed in Rule 81 of Central Motor Vehicles , 1989 shall not be applicable on battery operated vehicles, notification said. Average cost of Li ion cell to fall below $100/kWh in 2023 :Says Report.

As battery cost remains high, overall cost of EVs are high, which is the biggest hurdle of electric vehicles. Reduced battery cost is crucial for wide acceptability of EVs. In a recent analysis by IHS Markit , A British company that provides market analysis and research, Li ion battery cell price will fall below $100 per kWh in next three years. Govt. is aiming to improve the adoption of electric vehicles in the state and the announcement was made on the occasion to mark 11 years of the state's climate change department. Apart from that, Govt. is also thinking of making it compulsory to install charging kiosks at all company owned, company operated (Directly operated by Oil companies) petrol pumps of state refiners. Indian Power minister R K Singh in a review meeting of EV charging infrastructure suggested to top officials of oil ministry that "  they may issue an order for their oil marketing companies (OMCs) under their administrative control for setting up charging kiosks at all COCO petrol pumps ", a source said.
